What inspired me travel across the world

My first love affair with travel began with my grandmother. She was a housecleaner and would work many luxurious homes in South Florida. I would spend the summers with her being her little assistant house cleaner. She would walk me around each of the homes and show me the trinkets from all the places in the world where her clients’ traveled.

The Hallway in-between Spaces and Time

Once one door closes and we’re waiting for the other door to open, We’re in the hallway. It may feel like a really long, dark hallway. The challenge is for us to stay in the hallway long enough, to be in the discomfort and the growth long enough, so we are prepared to walk through that next open door.

This is for the women who today may feel they are not enough. Who feel the immense pain of the mother wound. Who wish to be a mother. Who choose not to birth a child. This is for the women who don’t know their birth mothers or who have conflicted, traumatic, tense relationships with their mothers. This is for all the women in this world today. ⁣
