Awaken your body, your mind, your heart.

The body has an intelligence well beyond our thinking mind. The practice of yoga invites us to tune into the messages that we often drown out with distractions and the busy-ness of life. When we tune in and really listen, we can begin to recognize all the ways stress has been held in our body and held us back from being fully present in this life.

We can unwind these patterns of stress through conscious breath and mindful movement to find freedom and greater levels of awareness— physically, emotionally and spiritually. With this new level of awareness we can access compassion and peace within, awakening to our true self.

Abundant Heart Yoga, my yoga philosophy and approach, invites you to drop from your thinking mind into your heart through embodied movement to explore the sensations, emotions, and thoughts that arise as you move through each pose. It's an opportunity to be present, accepting, and compassionate with yourself. As we awaken to compassion, we can feel the abundance that is within and all around.

Embrace the world with your abundant self, your abundant heart.

Abundant Heart Yoga invites you to connect to your inner sense and your authentic self through intentional breath, movement, and meditation.

I began my yoga journey as a student in San Francisco, CA seeking a deeper connection to myself and a greater connection to life itself. I was profoundly impacted by the ancient teachings of yoga and being more connected to my body, feeling stronger both physically and emotionally to face life’s challenges with ease.

I have been teaching yoga since 2014 in the community, group studio classes, and private sessions. After experiencing a major accident being hit by a car while riding my bicycle, I discovered the true healing power of this practice of yoga & meditation. This experience provided me the opportunity to share how yoga is not just about moving the body, but awakening the spirit, our resilient spirit to overcome the obstacles we face in life with grace.

As an advanced yoga teacher, I believe yoga is a breathing movement meditation and an opportunity to be more connected to our body’s intelligence and higher self, creating a pathway for healing and transformation. My teaching and practice draws upon the Bhakti & Hatha yoga traditions weaving in philosophy, mantra, breathwork, energetic alignment, somatic experiencing, nervous system regulation, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a connection to the divine.

My goal is to inspire students to take what happens on the mat out into our everyday lives– to quiet the noise in the mind, tune into the wisdom of the body, and create a deeper level of awareness. My classes are intentionally designed to make the ancient teachings of yoga accessible to everyone, no matter their age, ability or physical expression. I have over 700 hours of training experience and over 1,500 hours of teaching experience. I’m currently an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) 500 with Yoga Alliance.

Please join me for a group class or if you’d like to practice 1-on-1 with me, all are welcome!
